In the past I had a tear in my car seat repaired by Eve. She convinced me to let her fix the tear without replacing the entire seat cover. It cost me $25. So here we are 17 years later and I wanted to install leather seats in my Subaru Outback. I was thrilled to bring them business again. They knew what they were doing and did a great job. What more can I say. Excellent job! Thank you so much

I have had my car repaired at Upholstery 1 and my experience was wonderful! I was given several options for repairs and I was very happy with the quality of the work. I was offered a ride home on the day of my appointment and was offered a ride back to the shop when they were done. I have been a customer of Upholstery One for years. I would not go anywhere else. A couple of years ago, I went in for new leather seats and carpet replacement. Upon removing the carpet, severely rusted floor pans were found. They helped me find a local shop to do the repair which wound up including a paint job. Months had passed but they were still able to put my car back together. When the paint shop was unable to source a piece of exterior trim, Elaine, the owner of Upholstery One, stepped in and found the rubber trim pieces. Just recently, I went back to have my convertible top replaced. This will be the third top on my baby and it is BETTER than the factory original. They have also re-upholstered several chairs for me and I could not be more pleased. Upholstery One rules, I would not go anywhere else and you should not either! Ralph Fox Wilmington NC

Six months ago I had my top replaced on my Toyota Solara also on my front driver seat reupholstered. Eileen called me and explained to me that she had to leave town unexpectedly due to an illness and her family if I would come in and let her review the work and see how she could make it right. And boy did she ever make it right she rebuilt the whole front seat from top to bottom at no cost to me . Going way beyond what I asked for in the first place . She refitted the top make it look better than new !! She told me this is how the job should always leave her shop. She did a great job and I'm glad I went back Tommy Dolan Leland NC

Had them replace both leather armrest panels on my 08 Honda CR-V. Hundreds less then any other company in Wilmington, period. Other places 1month away appointments, this place 3 days from calling them. Work done in one day like they said and under $300. You will make a huge mistake going elsewhere. Its been about a year since I had any work done here but my aunt was looking to get a seat in her SUV re-upholstered so I was telling her about where I got mine done and couldn’t remember the name, so I yelped it to get the info and it has no reviews so I figured I would leave one.
       Mustang convertible convertible top
I bought a used (new to me) Mustang convertible last January and the top had a hard time coming down and it leaked. I was recommended to this place by a couple people because I always call around to get price quotes and most car shops do not put on new convertible tops (unbeknownst to me). So I stopped by and they had a huge book of all kinds of tops for diff cars, models, materials, etc. It was actually kind of exciting because i was able to pick out a new color if I wanted (which I did) and choose from a couple different materials. So to make this already long story short, I made my choice, they ordered the top and I think it took about a week or two to come in and once it did, I took my car back up there and it only took them a day to put the new top on! It looks great, it was wayyyy more affordable than I thought it was going to be and it came with an 8-year warranty!! So far, I haven't had any problems with it and I couldn't believe how much easier it was to put the top down and back up again!
       Lexus seat re-upholstered
Once I got the new top for my mustang, and spending less money than I thought I was going to, I decided to go ahead and get my Lexus seat re-upholstered because they're leather and over time a small tear in the drivers seat had turned into a huge, long tear right in the middle of the seat and it was only getting worse. So again, I took the Lexus up there and the same lady helped me again (I can’t remember her name). Of course, with the seat, I’m going to want the same color, so she brought a book out with swatches to match the color as best as she could, which was pretty darn close. 

The year of the car is 2004, but I love this car and have had it forever but also didn't want to spend a ton of money just fixing my seats. So I had the option of leather (exactly what was currently in it) or vinyl which was considerably cheaper! The best part, is you can’t tell the difference between it being leather or vinyl, so again they ordered the material and it only took a day for them to re-upholster my seat! It turned out great! We only did the actual seat part bc that's where the tear was, so you can tell its new because it just doesn't have the "worn" leather look but its honestly still not that noticeable! 

Again, they did a great job, they were quick and it was VERY affordable!!! I have recommended other friends/family here for various things because they will re-upholster just about anything!!! When I was researching places for my mustang top, I called several places in Wilmington and more than one car repair shop recommended Upholstery 1 and I'm glad they did!
